Carmen's play was first produced as a staged reading for Queer Liaisons at Cherry Lane theater in 2021. The festival was produced by Rylie Butzbaugh-Patrick and Juliet Perrell, who both acted in the piece alongside Nico Watson. The production was directed by Emily Abrams. In October 2022, Taking the Plunge went up at the Tank theater. The play was performed by Meadow Cloud, Cara Napoli and Josephine Chiang. Directing and Photography by Friday Anderson. 

In 2022, Taking the Plunge received a production in Breaking and Entering's PEA Fest. The piece was directed by Nathan Mullen, featuring Sav Smith, Ken Hall and Lorelei Smith. Photography by Robson Trudgill.

In May 2023 Carmen's play was produced in the Fresh Fruit festival. Carmen stepped into a role in the play for the first time and acted alongside Lorelei Smith and Natalia Urzua. The show was directed by Kelsey Renee and produced by Joe Carleton who also did photography.

After a (virtual) staged reading with HB studios in 2021, Carmen's play,  Date With the Devil, went up at Portland Playhouse in a costumed and set designed staged reading produced by Erin DiIorio. Featuring Lane Bournan, Ash Heffernan and Dom Palla.
